This is Jeff and Jonathan putting on a new roof at Jeff's father's home in Rupert Idaho. It was pretty hot even for Idaho. Jonathan's feet were burning through his shoes. The second day there was a pretty good cloud cover which helped immensely. Julie and I cleaned the inside of the house. Jeff's dad lives alone and is 83 years old. It was fun to introduce him to his first great granddaughter, Sara Joy. Joy was Jeff's mother's name. She died of Pancreatic cancer when Jeff was on his mission.
This is my Uncle Richard, my mom's brother holding my granddaughter Sara Joy!
This is my Aunt Darla who I love dearly. She is seeing and holding my first granddaughter, Sara Joy for the first time.

This is me and my cousin Brent, my aunt Darla's son. I finally met his wife Paula and their two girls for the first time this weekend of July 24th, 2009. Jessica is far right and is 21 and engaged to be married. Sarah is far left and is 20 and just returned from Paris where she studied art. They are darling and it was so fun to finally meet them in person. Paula is lovely and Brent is a lucky man!! They live in Louisiana.
Sara Joy, my and Jeff's granddaughter and Olivia, Rick and Juliana's granddaughter meet on the weekend of the 24th of July, 2009.
